What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis, ABA, is a scientifically validated method of teaching appropriate behaviors while managing and reducing unwanted behaviors. The driving force behind ABA is based on the principle of reinforcement, where desired behaviors are reinforced, therefore increasing the likelihood of them occurring again.
ABA is one of the most effective interventions used to teach children with autism. It has been utlized to teach communication and conversation skills, social skills, play skills, and indpendent living skills, to name just a few.

We offer part-time, full-time, and after school social skills programs to address your child's needs. This can include one-on-one ABA, where a client receives instruction from one therapist throughout the session, or social skills groups, where a few clients may receive instruction from one ABA therapist. These options will be discussed with you before beginning at Beyond the Behavior, and the environment that will enable your child to be most successful will be utilized.
